I have to admit something – I am an absolute Christmas fiend. As Morgan’s birthday is at the end of November, the rule in our house is that I can’t start decorating and playing Christmas tunes until after the 24th of Nov.
However I do tend to start my Christmas shopping early, as it’s nice to get all the shopping out of the way. Especially when it involves ordering things online, so they have plenty of time to arrive.
Therefore today, I wanted to share some fantastic ideas for Christmas gifts that support Australian small businesses. Some of these are our wonderful clients, some are friends of GCD and they are all businesses we love, admire and shop from ourselves.
So put on the Christmas tunes (shhh…. don’t tell Morgan) and let’s start putting together your Christmas gift list for 2024:
Gifts for foodies
Just In Time Gourmet
Family owned and operated, Justin and Jodee Wearne are some of the loveliest people you’ll meet! They are based in sunny Perth, so if you’re ordering from the east coast, definitely order with plenty of time to spare. They have a huge range of delicious foodie products that you won’t find just anywhere. They focus a lot on supporting other small businesses around Australia to help spread the word about their delicious products.

Natural Supply Co
We have worked with Natural Supply Co for over a year now and most of the money they pay us, we end up giving back to them.. haha. We love our NSC shopping trips! They have so many goodies that we buy for ourselves, the kids and also for gifts.
Celeste and Sarah, the besties who own and operate NSC have a physical shop in Geelong, Victoria, but they also ship all over Australia. In fact you can nab free shipping with any order over $120. And trust me, it is extremely easy to spend that amount 😉
Their shop is full of awesome sustainable, natural, organic and eco-friendly brands like BAGGU, Archivist Gallery, Frank Green, Buzz Patch and plenty more!
Sensoriam
Think of Sensoriam as the Mecca for natural perfume. This fabulous women-led business is based out of Sydney and I have been lucky enough to try a number of the natural perfumes available and I am blown away. Once you go natural, you won’t go back!
Owner and operator, Jess is so incredibly passionate about what she does and has put together a collection of ethical natural perfumes from around the world. How she sources her range of natural perfumes is incredibly rigorous so that she can be certain she is offering only fragrances which are 100% natural.
Plus when buying online you get free shipping with all orders over $50 and can get 15% off your first order.

Gifts for wine lovers
Good Pair Days
If you haven’t yet heard of Good Pair Days and you love wine, seriously where have you been? Good Pair Days are a wine subscription service – which means they deliver wine to your door every month for an incredibly affordable price if you ask me! What really sets GPD apart from all the other wine services is that you start your journey with them by completing their wine palate quiz so they can match wines based on your tastes! It’s a super smart algorithm.
You can gift a wine subscription (and they even do corporate wine gifts too) or order one of their special wine gift packs for that wine lover in your life this Christmas. Or just order for yourself 😉
3drops wine & olive oil
3drops are from WA’s Great Southern wine region and make some absolutely stellar, award-winning wines. That will make great gifts but also are a must for the Christmas celebrations. Joanne Bradbury is the lady behind the brand and is an absolute pleasure to deal with.
